Recently, the Science and Technology Award Recognition Conference sponsored by the Chinese Materials Research Society was held in Shenzhen. With the support of 725, the project "Key Technology and Industrialization of Ultra-large Wind Turbine Blade Composite Material Design and Process" led by SUNRUI Wind Turbine Blade Corporation as the first completion unit won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Materials Research Society.
According to the characteristics of China's onshore and offshore environments, this project, through systematic research and analysis, gradually carries out common technology research in four aspects, namely, design of composite materials for ultra-large wind turbine blades, application of advanced composite materials, molding of production processes, and testing and validation; and breaks through the key technologies related to composite materials for ultra-large wind turbine blades, which effectively promotes the advanced composite material technology of ultra-large wind turbine blades in China, as well as the development of wind power in China's low wind speed region.
According to the market demand, this project carried out technological transformation, and advanced the development step by step. It developed 2-10MW class 42.2-102m more than 40-type ethnic wind power blade products, which are widely used in many provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) and four major regions of my country. It has achieved batch export and has become the mainstream of my country's composite material blade industry, which has promoted the development of domestic composite material structural parts in the field of new energy applications.

The award has an important influence in the field of materials research in China. The successful development of AFSS by SunRui is another major breakthrough in the field of clean energy supply systems for ships, following the LNG supply system for ships and the methanol fuel supply system for ships.
