Introduction to Valve Products The specialty valve industry is one of the key sectors at the Luoyang Ship Materials Research Institute. Primary products include ultra-low temperature valves and special material valves. Among these, titanium alloy valves are widely used in fields such as the petrochemical industry, shipbuilding, power plants, offshore drilling platforms, and the nuclear industry. Currently, the institute possesses China's largest 1000kg vacuum casting furnace, making it the sole enterprise in China capable of producing extra-large titanium valve castings. Ultra-low temperature valves are critical supporting equipment for the development, storage, transportation, and application of cryogenic media such as LNG. These products are extensively used in LNG receiving terminals, high-tech LNG vessels, liquefaction plants, air separation units, aerospace, and cryogenic storage systems. The valve types include ball valves, butterfly valves, globe valves, stop-check valves, and check valves.
